Position Summary
The Sales Associate plays a key role in delivering a welcoming and refined client experience. This position includes client advising, sales support, store presentation, and operational responsibilities. The ideal candidate enjoys meaningful client interactions, values a beautifully maintained environment, and is motivated by continuous learning and growth.
Weekly Schedule
The store operates on the following regular hours:
• Tuesday to Saturday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
The store is typically closed on Sundays and Mondays. However, employees may be required to work during special events on these days as scheduled and confirmed in advance.
Key Responsibilities
Client Experience and Sales Excellence
• Create personalized, one-on-one client experiences that reflect SUNSHINE’s service standards.
• Understand each client’s needs, story, and style to provide thoughtful product recommendations.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships through consistent follow-up and outreach.
• Support both in-store and online sales while contributing to team sales goals.
• Resolve client concerns with professionalism, empathy, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Package, fulfill, and manage Shopify orders to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Product Knowledge and Development
• Develop in-depth knowledge of all jewelry collections, materials, craftsmanship, and care.
• Stay informed on new arrivals, bestsellers, and brand values to guide clients with confidence.
• Participate in ongoing training to strengthen product expertise and sales skills.
• Inspect and clean jewelry and support basic repair intake procedures.
Store Presentation and Operational Excellence
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually compelling showcases and displays at all times.
• Restyle and organize product displays daily, ensuring accurate presentation and proper tagging.
• Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and supply organization.
• Support scheduling, vendor communication, and general administrative tasks.
• Assist with planning and supporting in-store events that enhance client engagement.

• Proactive approach to improving internal processes and overall efficiency.
• Commitment to expanding product knowledge and maintaining high service standards.
• Ability to remain present, focused, and professional in all client interactions.
Benefits
Employees who convert to full-time status will be eligible for the following benefits:
• Five vacation days per year, plus all major holidays off
• Five sick or personal days per year, with additional days accrued annually
Trial Period
All new hires will begin with a 90-day trial period. If the position is a good fit, there is the potential to convert to full-time status with benefits.
